Lucky for you, with this mug cake recipe, you don’t need to wait for a late night dessert delivery or even for your oven to preheat. All you need is a handful of ingredients and a microwave, and in five minutes, you’ll have a decadent dessert with 22 grams of protein and 8 grams of fiber.

  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 1 large egg
  • ½ cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 scoop Peppermint Mocha Shakeology
  • 2 tsp. semisweet (or dark) chocolate chips
  1. Coat the inside of a microwave-safe mug with spray.

  2. Add egg to mug; lightly beat with fork. Add applesauce, Shakeology, and chocolate chips; stir until well incorporated.

  3. Microwave on high for 2 to 3 minutes. Serve warm.
